Pengembangan Google Sites Sebagai Media Pembelajaran untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa The Development of Google Sites as an Instructional Media to Enhance Students' Learning Achievement

Abstract
This objective of this study is to produce valid, effective, and efficient learning media on the subject of Physics for 11th graders of MA Ma'arif Cilageni. This study uses the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). The learning media created consists of Main Page, Learning Objectives Page, Material Page, Video Page, Simulation Page, and Evaluation Page. Analysis stage is the step to analyze the needs and the curriculum. At the design stage, we design data, design navigation, and make program outlines, storyboards, and flowcharts. Development stage is to conduct development starting from the display, learning videos, audio and video description, pictures, link (students’ presence list, assignment, practicum simulation, and video such as about elasticity). The last stage is evaluation which is done through validation by two media experts and two material experts as well as the users’ response (physics teachers). The validation result by the media experts shows the score of 85.55% with category of “very appropriate” to use, by the material experts of 90% with the category of “very appropriate” to use, and the response from the users of 89,37% with the category of “very appropriate” to use. Effectivity test is done by using objective test. The test is applied to the 11th graders of MIPA amounting 30 students. Based on the test result, the number of students achieving scores of above the Minimum Completeness Criteria is 27 students or 86%. Therefore, website learning media for the subject of physics on elasticity is determined “effective” to be used. Efficiency test is done to know the teachers’ response on the use of developed google site media. The result of efficiency test from the teachers shows a score of 92,033% with the category of “very efficient” consisting of three aspects of evaluation, namely quality evaluation of 93,55% in average with the category of “very efficient”, media characteristic evaluation of 90,15% in average with the category of “very efficient”, and benefit evaluation of 91,4% in average with the category “very efficient”. Therefore, based on the validity, effectivity, and efficiency tests, google sites-based learning media developed is suitable to be used as one of learning media on 11th MIPA grades physic subject. At the evaluation stage, three times of google site learning media implementation trials are conducted. In the first trial, the students’ pre-test average score is 65, while the post-test is 75. In the second trial, the students’ pre-test average score is 67, while the post-test is 78. In the third trial, the students’ pre-test average score is 78, while the post-test is 80. The increase on the students’ learning outcomes takes place gradually in line with the increase of learning media usage having been revised in accordance with the students’ needs as well as learning method adjustment. This data indicates that google site learning media has great potentials to enhance the students’ learning achievement.
